We take pride in being a reliable manufacturer and supplier of Alloy C263 Bars and Rods, delivering top-notch products designed for outstanding performance in high-temperature and corrosive settings. Alloy C263 is a unique blend of nickel, cobalt, chromium, and molybdenum, known for its impressive strength, excellent resistance to oxidation, and remarkable fabricability. It shines in terms of creep and stress-rupture properties, even at temperatures reaching 900°C (1650°F). Our bars and rods are crafted with precision, ensuring they perform consistently and last long in demanding industries. They’re perfect for aerospace, gas turbines, chemical processing, and power generation, where dependability in extreme conditions is a must.
Alloy C263 Bars and Rods mainly consist of Nickel (~51%), Cobalt (~20%), Chromium (~20%), and Molybdenum (~6%), along with trace amounts of Titanium, Aluminum, Iron, and Carbon. This well-balanced composition provides a mix of solid-solution and precipitation-strengthening properties. The mechanical characteristics include a tensile strength of about 1000 MPa, a yield strength of around 760 MPa, and impressive elongation and fatigue resistance. The alloy excels in creep and oxidation resistance at high temperatures, ensuring it maintains structural integrity in tough operating conditions while also offering good ductility for easy fabrication and welding.

Yes, Alloy C263 bars are recyclable. As a high-performance alloy, it can be melted and reused for manufacturing new products, making it an environmentally friendly material in the long term.
Alloy C263 rods are available in various sizes ranging from 1/8" to 6" in diameter, with lengths typically up to 12 feet. Common finishes include hot-rolled, cold-drawn, and polished.
Yes, Alloy C263 (also known as Hastelloy C263) can be welded using appropriate techniques such as TIG or MIG welding, with careful control of heat to avoid carbide precipitation.
Alloy C263, also referred to as UNS N08028, is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy that has great resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and high temperature. It finds applications in aerospace, chemical processing, and power generation industries. The alloy has a special value in applications involving resistance to sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and phosphoric acid, which qualifies it for the use in heat exchangers, reactors, and furnace components. Alloy C263 bar and rod is also applied on components of the turbine engine, petrochemical equipment, and marine applications. Due to its elevated temperature strength and resistance to aggressive environments, this alloy is highly suitable for demanding applications in both industrial and high-performance environments.
