Known for its excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, Aluminium 1060 is ideal for electrical, chemical, and food processing applications. We manufacture and supply 1060 bars and rods in custom sizes and finishes, ensuring superior formability, consistency, and quality. As a commercially pure aluminium alloy (99.6% min), 1060 is highly corrosion-resistant and lightweight, making it suitable for non-structural applications where conductivity and appearance matter.
Aluminium 1060 contains at least 99.6% pure aluminium, with trace elements of iron and silicon. It offers great electrical (approx. 54% IACS) and thermal conductivity, with tensile strength from 68–110 MPa. The alloy is non-heat-treatable but responds well to cold working for added strength. 1060 shows excellent corrosion resistance, workability, and is easy to weld. Its softness makes it best for applications requiring high formability and conductivity rather than structural strength.
