Aiman Metals manufactures and supplies Aluminium 1060 Forgings from its facility in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, providing high-purity aluminium solutions for electrical, chemical, and architectural applications. Aluminium 1060 is a commercially pure grade with excellent electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance, and workability. We craft our 1060 forgings using precise techniques to ensure dimensional accuracy and product uniformity. Aiman Metals offers custom sizes and configurations to meet client needs, providing cost-effective, high-performance forgings for various industrial uses.
Aluminium 1060 contains over 99.6% pure aluminium, with trace elements like silicon and iron. It provides excellent electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, and corrosion resistance. Its tensile strength ranges from 68 to 110 MPa, and it has great formability and weldability. It cannot be heat-treated and gains moderate strength through cold working. Its low strength is balanced by superior workability and chemical stability, making it suitable for applications that require high purity and conductivity rather than mechanical strength.

Aluminum 1060 is not ideal for high-temperature forging applications due to its low strength and relatively low melting point. It is more suited for applications requiring excellent corrosion resistance and formability.
Aluminum 1060 offers high corrosion resistance, excellent workability, good weldability, and enhanced electrical conductivity, making it ideal for custom forgings in industries requiring lightweight, durable, and malleable components.
The forging process for Aluminium 1060 typically takes several hours, depending on the complexity of the part, with heating, shaping, and cooling stages. Each stage varies based on specifications.
