Aiman Metals supplies high-purity Aluminium 1070 Forgings to various industries in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Aluminium 1070 is known for its outstanding electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance, making it perfect for specialized industrial applications. At Aiman Metals, our forgings are created using the highest quality raw materials and modern forging techniques to ensure accuracy, surface quality, and top performance. We provide custom solutions based on client needs, helping manufacturers maintain consistent quality and performance in applications that require high thermal and electrical efficiency.
Aluminium 1070 contains 99.7% aluminium, with small additions of iron (up to 0.25%) and silicon (up to 0.2%). It has excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance, with tensile strength ranging from 85 to 125 MPa. While this alloy is non-heat-treatable, it can be strengthened through cold working. It has high ductility, making it easy to forge, shape, and weld. Aluminium 1070 is also non-magnetic and provides an excellent surface finish after fabrication, making it suitable for both functional and decorative uses.

The forging process for Aluminium 1070 typically takes several hours, depending on the complexity of the part and size. Heating, shaping, cooling, and finishing stages each contribute to the total time.
Aluminum 1070 is not ideal for high-temperature forging applications due to its relatively low melting point and limited strength at elevated temperatures. Alloys like 7075 or 2618 are better suited.
Aluminum 1070 offers excellent corrosion resistance, high electrical conductivity, good formability, and high purity, making it ideal for custom forgings in applications requiring strength and durability with minimal impurities.
Aluminium 1070 Forgings are frequently used to produce electrical conductors, cables, transformer windings, and power transmission systems. They are also utilized in the food and chemical processing sectors for equipment like storage tanks, pipelines, and trays. In construction, this alloy is used for facades, signage, and light fixtures. Its excellent corrosion resistance and formability make it perfect for applications in marine and clean environments. Additionally, 1070 is often used in reflectors, battery foils, and heat exchangers that require high thermal conductivity.
