Aluminium 3003 consists mainly of aluminium (about 96.8–99%) with manganese (1.0–1.5%) and traces of iron and copper. It has a tensile strength ranging from approximately 130 to 200 MPa. This alloy cannot be heat-treated but gains moderate strength through cold working. It offers good corrosion resistance, excellent formability, and weldability, making it suitable for applications requiring easy fabrication and surface finishing.
