Aiman Metals manufactures corrosion-resistance Aluminium 3003 Forgings in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, suitable for non-structural but high-formability applications. Aluminium 3003 is a non-heat-treatable alloy that stands out for its excellent corrosion resistance, ease of fabricability, and moderate strength. Our 3003 forgings are well-suited for application in roofing systems, cookware, chemical handling equipment, and decorative uses. Aiman Metals offers customized forged shapes with smooth surfaces and dependable mechanical properties at an economical cost of fabrication.
Aluminium 3003 contains manganese (1.0–1.5%) and trace copper, with tensile strength of about 130–180 MPa. It cannot be heat-treated but hardens by cold working. 3003 possesses good corrosion resistance, good weldability, and high workability, particularly in intricate shapes. It is normally used where high strength is not needed but corrosion resistance and formability are imperative.

Aluminum 3003 offers excellent corrosion resistance, good formability, lightweight, and high strength-to-weight ratio, making it ideal for custom forgings in industries like aerospace, automotive, and construction.
Aluminum 3003 is not ideal for high-temperature forging applications due to its low strength at elevated temperatures. It is more suitable for applications requiring good formability at moderate temperatures.
Aluminum 3003 has good workability, making it easy to forge. Its excellent formability allows for smooth shaping, but it requires careful temperature control to avoid material damage during forging.
Aluminium 3003 Forgings find extensive application in roofing panels, siding, cooking utensils, storage tanks, and HVAC parts. The alloy is well suited for food and chemical processing industries because of its non-toxic and corrosion-resistant properties. Signage, decorative components, and lightweight enclosures also use the alloy. Its machinability makes it widely popular for forged components that need bending, spinning, or stamping without stress failure or cracking.
