Aiman Metals produces Aluminium 6063 Forgings in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with high-quality surface finish and corrosion resistance for architectural and light structural applications. Aluminium 6063 is highly extrudable and has excellent aesthetic finish, making it suitable for decorative and lightly stressed forged components. Our forging operations guarantee high dimensional accuracy and consistent performance. Aiman Metals provides 6063 forgings in custom shapes and sizes appropriate for window frames, railings, and engineered fixtures where looks and moderate strength are prime concerns.
Aluminium 6063 contains magnesium (0.45–0.9%) and silicon (0.2–0.6%) as its major alloying elements. It provides tensile strength of about 145–190 MPa in T6 temper. It is corrosion–resistant, heat–treatable, and possesses good surface finish and moderate strength. Though less strong compared to 6061, due to its superb finish and formability, it is best suited for precision-forged parts with visual requirements.

The forging process for Aluminium 5082 typically takes between 2 to 6 hours, depending on the complexity of the part, size, and the specific forging method used.
Aluminum 5082 offers high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, good weldability, and enhanced fatigue resistance, making it ideal for custom forgings in marine, aerospace, and structural applications.
Aluminum 5082's workability, characterized by good machinability and medium strength, allows for easy shaping during forging. However, its relatively low work hardening rate may require careful temperature control.
Aluminium 6063 Forgings find extensive use in architectural uses like window frames, door parts, curtain walls, and decorative trim. They are used in lighting fixtures, display frames, and light furniture as well. On the transportation front, 6063 is utilized in railings, support panels, and trim components. Its bright surface finish and corrosion resistance find it in great demand for anodizing and powder coating, which is suitable for customer–visible uses needing aesthetic appeal and environmental durability.
