C10100 copper bars and rods are synonymous with Oxygen-Free Electronic (OFE) copper and possess ultra-high purity that provides unexcelled electrical and thermal conductivity. The bars are produced through electrolytic refining and deoxidation in a controlled environment to eliminate entire oxygen content, thus imparting them exceptional corrosion resistance and ductility. C10100 bars are characterized by their outstanding consistency and are manufactured with close tolerances and highly polished surface finishes, which are well suited for precision applications. They find extensive applications in electrical, electronics, and aerospace industries where utmost levels of conductivity, purity, and dependability are highly necessary. These bars provide minimum signal loss and long-term stability.
Copper C10100 consists of 99.99% pure copper with negligible oxygen content. It has excellent electrical conductivity usually above 101% IACS (International Annealed Copper Standard), and thermal conductivity of about 390 W/m·K. Its tensile strength is between 210-370 MPa depending on temper with excellent formability and ductility. Its resistance to hydrogen embrittlement and corrosion is exceptionally high due to the absence of oxygen. It also has superior weldability and brazing properties to make it suitable where a clean, pure copper surface is necessary.
