Copper C10400 consists of ≥99.95% copper with very low oxygen levels. It has electrical conductivity greater than 101% IACS and thermal conductivity in excess of 390 W/m·K. It is in the annealed state with tensile strength of about 200 MPa and superior elongation (~30–40%). C10400 provides superior formability, ductility, and resistance to hydrogen embrittlement. It can be cold-worked or stress-relieved, and it exhibits clean brazing and joining. Its high purity provides stable electrical and mechanical properties even in vacuum and cryogenic environments.
