What is Copper Nickel Flat Bars?

Copper Nickel Flat Bars are usually made of 90% copper and 10% nickel, with small additions of iron and manganese to enhance strength and toughness. This alloy provides superior corrosion resistance in seawater and chemical environments, as well as a high thermal conductivity. Mechanical properties are a tensile strength of 370–550 MPa, yield strength of 140–300 MPa, and elongation of up to 40%. The alloy is stress corrosion cracking resistant and biofouling resistant and is, therefore, extremely durable. Its strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance make it a good option for demanding industrial applications.
