Aiman Metals, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is a prominent producer and supplier of high-quality metal products, with a specialty in Copper-Nickel (CuNi) Forgings. Established decades ago, the company offers top-quality forged parts designed to serve the specific needs of marine, chemical processing, oil & gas, and power generation sectors. Known for corrosion resistance, strength, and longevity, Aiman Metals manufactures 90/10 and 70/30 Copper-Nickel alloys to serve reliably in demanding environments. With the latest manufacturing techniques, the company guarantees precision, quality, and long-term performance, making it a reliable partner for demanding industrial applications.
Copper-Nickel Forgings are usually available in 90/10 (90% Cu, 10% Ni) and 70/30 (70% Cu, 30% Ni) composition with small amounts of iron and manganese for improvement in mechanical performance. The 90/10 alloy has a tensile strength of around 550 MPa, while the 70/30 alloy has a tensile strength of about 650 MPa. Both the grades have good ductility, resistance to stress corrosion cracking, and excellent corrosion resistance in seawater and chemical environments. They also have good electrical and thermal conductivity, as well as weldability, which makes the alloys perfect for rigorous industrial and marine usage.

Compatible welding processes for copper-nickel forgings include TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), MIG (Metal Inert Gas), and Stick welding. These methods ensure strong, durable joints while preserving the material's properties.
Copper-nickel forgings are commonly used in marine, aerospace, chemical processing, power generation, oil and gas, desalination, and plumbing industries due to their corrosion resistance, strength, and durability in harsh environments.
Factors ensuring the durability of copper-nickel forgings include proper alloy composition, effective heat treatment, corrosion resistance, precise forging processes, and protective coatings, all contributing to strength, reliability, and long-term performance.
Copper-Nickel Forgings have extensive use in industries with the need for high strength along with superior corrosion resistance. In the marine industry, they are utilized in pipelines, heat exchangers, and fittings, withstanding seawater corrosion along with biofouling. The oil and chemical industry uses these forgings for pumps, pressure vessels, and valves, where resistance to high pressure and chemical aggression is imperative. Aerospace involves components of fuel systems, as well as other high-performance components. They are employed in power generation equipment, plumbing, and desalination plants, where long-term reliability, resistance to erosion, and high thermal conductivity are crucial for safe and efficient operation.
