Aiman Metals stands out as a top-notch manufacturer and supplier of high-quality Free Cutting Brass Rods, proudly based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We’re known for our unwavering dedication to quality and precision, crafting brass rods that excel in machinability and high-speed turning operations. Our range includes various diameters, lengths, and finishes to cater to a wide array of industrial needs. Adhering to international standards, Aiman Metals guarantees consistent material performance, precise dimensions, and impressive corrosion resistance. We serve customers both locally and internationally, ensuring timely delivery and providing technical support for clients in the electrical, engineering, and manufacturing sectors.
Our Free Cutting Brass Rods are typically crafted from the brass alloy CW614N or its equivalent, which contains about 57–60% copper, 2.5–3.0% lead, and the rest being zinc. The lead content boosts machinability without sacrificing strength or surface quality. These rods boast a tensile strength of approximately 350–500 MPa, excellent corrosion resistance, and a smooth surface finish. They are non-magnetic, easy to machine, and perfect for precision applications. Free cutting brass is particularly suited for high-speed automated processes like CNC turning and milling, making it one of the most efficient and cost-effective options for mass production.
