Incoloy 330 bars and rods are nickel-chromium-iron high-temperature alloys intended for superior oxidation, carburization, and scaling resistance at very hot environments. Frequently utilized for thermal processing and industrial furnace use, Incoloy 330 exhibits excellent structural strength and resistance to creep at temperatures in excess of 1000°C. The alloy is stable during periodic heating, and therefore suited for parts subjected to cyclic thermal as well as mechanical loading. Its thermal shock, corrosion, and carburization-induced embrittlement resistance provides long service life. These bars are manufactured to exacting standards to sustain high-temperature, high-stress operations in metallurgical and energy industries.
Incoloy 330 has a composition of about 35–37% nickel, 17–20% chromium, and the remainder iron with minor silicon and manganese. It yields a tensile strength of 500–650 MPa and superior creep strength. The alloy remains oxidation- and scale-resistant to 1150°C. Its microstructure is resistant to grain growth, embrittlement, and long-term heat exposure degradation. The material has good weldability and can be formed through conventional methods. Its resistance to carburizing and nitriding environments positions it as the best for high-heat structural components.
