Aiman Metals supplies Inconel 690 Bars and Rods in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, designed for enhanced corrosion and heat resistance. With its high chromium composition, Inconel 690 enjoys good performance in hot, acidic, and steam-contaminated conditions. Inconel 690 finds extensive applications in nuclear and chemical processing operations, where stress corrosion cracking resistance and oxide scaling are important. At Aiman Metals, precision-finished bars in accordance with the ASTM and ASME requirements are available, best applicable for structural and pressure-bound applications. Our Inconel 690 products assure unparalleled reliability for high-pressure and high-temperature service conditions.
Inconel 690 consists mainly of ~58–61% nickel, ~27–31% chromium, and ~7–11% iron, with minor silicon and manganese. It offers tensile strength over 690 MPa and functions satisfactorily in environments up to 1000°C. The alloy offers excellent resistance to aqueous corrosion, oxidation, and chloride stress cracking. It is stable microstructurally under thermal and mechanical cycling and is also weldable. Inconel 690 is very resistant to acidic, high-pressure steam, and oxidizing conditions and is thus well suited for long-term industrial service.
