Inconel 718 is a nickel-chromium alloy that consists of about 50–55% nickel, 17–21% chromium, 4.75–5.5% niobium, 2.8–3.3% molybdenum, along with trace amounts of titanium, aluminum, and iron. This alloy boasts impressive tensile strength (up to 1,300 MPa), high yield strength (up to 1,100 MPa), and remarkable creep resistance.
