Their Inconel 718 forgings are essential for critical applications where reliability and performance are a must.
Inconel 718 is a nickel-chromium alloy that consists of about 50–55% nickel, 17–21% chromium, 4.75–5.5% niobium, 2.8–3.3% molybdenum, along with trace amounts of titanium, aluminum, and iron. This alloy boasts impressive tensile strength (up to 1,300 MPa), high yield strength (up to 1,100 MPa), and remarkable creep resistance. Inconel 718 retains its mechanical properties even at temperatures reaching 700°C. It can be precipitation-hardened, allowing for heat treatment that enhances its strength. Its excellent corrosion resistance and stability under high-stress conditions make it a top choice for precision forging applications.

Inconel 718 forgings find extensive use in industries where components must withstand extreme heat, pressure, and corrosive environments. In aerospace, they are utilized for jet engine parts, turbine discs, shafts, and fasteners. In the oil and gas industry, Inconel 718 is essential for high-pressure valves, downhole tools, and drilling components, thanks to its strength and corrosion resistance. The power generation sector employs these forgings in turbines and heat exchangers. Additionally, they are used in marine and chemical processing environments where high mechanical strength and oxidation resistance are critical.
