Inconel 783 has ~40% nickel, ~25% iron, ~20% chromium, with niobium and titanium for precipitation hardening. The alloy has a low coefficient of thermal expansion (~8.5 µm/m°C), with tensile strength in excess of 800 MPa. It retains oxidation resistance up to 800°C and demonstrates high dimensional stability under cyclic thermal conditions. Inconel 783 provides well-balanced mechanical strength and endurance against high-temperature fatigue and thermal shock.
