Aiman Metals, with its base in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is a reliable producer and provider of excellent quality Inconel Flat Bars. We offer a broad variety of sizes, shapes, and specifications to suit the varied needs of industries like aerospace, chemical processing, and power generation. Produced from superior-grade alloys and state-of-the-art production methods, our Inconel Flat Bars offer superior strength, corrosion, and heat-resistant properties. Each bar is subjected to rigorous quality inspections to international specifications, guaranteeing unmatched durability and reliability in the most challenging applications. At Aiman Metals, we integrate technical know-how and customer-centricity to offer materials that deliver with no compromise.
Inconel Flat Bars are nickel-based high-performance alloys with a majority content of 72% Nickel, 14–17% Chromium, 2–3% Molybdenum, and minor levels of Titanium, Iron, and other constituents. This composition provides outstanding resistance to high temperatures, corrosion, and oxidation. They have a tensile strength of up to 1030 MPa, very high creep resistance, and excellent structural stability when subjected to thermal stress. Inconel Flat Bars retain their structural integrity even in harsh pressure and temperature conditions, while providing good formability and weldability, making them suitable for applications requiring both mechanical strength and chemical resistance.

Yes, for Invar bar welding, specialized consumables like Invar welding rods, Invar electrodes, or Ni-based filler metals such as ERNi-1 or ERNiCrMo-3 are commonly used to ensure optimal bonding and minimize thermal expansion issues.
Yes, Invar bar and rod can be welded, typically using TIG or MIG welding techniques. However, it requires careful control of heat to avoid distortion due to its low expansion properties.
Invar rods, primarily composed of iron and nickel, are generally resistant to galvanic corrosion. However, when paired with more reactive metals, they may experience corrosion if exposed to electrolyte solutions.
Invar bar and rods are a type of alloy of iron and nickel, widely used for applications requiring minimum thermal expansion. The reason for it is due to the uniqueness of its property, having a very low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE). It is ideal in the application of precision instruments such as clocks, watches, and measuring devices. This element is also widely applied in aerospace and electronics as the components would require maintaining absolute dimensions in oscillating temperatures: it is part of satellites, lasers, and structural elements for various scientific instruments. Besides, in manufacturing molds and tools, under changing temperatures dimensional stability will be required; Invar satisfies such requirements well.
