Our Monel Hex Bars are produced from a nickel–copper alloy with about 63% nickel and 28–34% copper and trace amounts of iron, manganese, carbon, and silicon. This special alloy composition confers superior corrosion resistance in seawater, acid, alkali, and high-temperature conditions. The alloy also has good oxidation resistance, high strength retention at elevated temperatures, and good machinability. The hexagonal structure provides greater grip and adaptability to precision machining into parts.
