Monel Hollow Bars consist of 65–70% nickel, 28–34% copper, and trace quantities of iron, manganese, carbon, and silicon. This alloy provides superior corrosion resistance in seawater and acidic media. Mechanically, they possess tensile strength as high as 1000 MPa with high yield strength and superior pitting and stress corrosion cracking resistance. They possess good high-temperature stability, toughness, and ease of fabricating, making them suitable for precision engineering.
