Nickel Alloy Round Bars are corrosion-resistant, high-strength materials that are used for critical applications in aerospace, oil and gas, chemical processing, and marine engineering industries. These alloy bars are produced with sophisticated alloying processes, which provide homogeneous properties, excellent surface finish, and accurate dimensions. They are offered in different nickel-based alloys like Inconel, Monel, and Hastelloy and exhibit superior performance in high-temperature as well as corrosive conditions. Nickel Alloy Round Bars suit components that need to be resistant to strength, ductility, and oxidation and thermal degradation. Their cylindrical shape makes them readily machinable, thread-able, and integrable into high-performance systems.
Nickel Alloy Round Bars typically consist of more than 60% nickel with chromium, iron, molybdenum, or copper, based on the alloy. Such combinations give them excellent corrosion and heat resistances. The bars have tensile strengths ranging from 600–1000 MPa with high ductility and toughness at high temperatures. They provide very good resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking. Nickel alloys also offer superior thermal conductivity, and hence, they find applications in heat-exchange systems. Nickel alloys can be cold-worked and heat-treated to provide better mechanical performance.
