Stainless Steel 1.4122 is a martensitic stainless steel alloy that mainly consists of chromium (12–14%), molybdenum (0.2–0.6%), and carbon (0.16–0.25%). It boasts impressive hardness and strength after heat treatment, with tensile strength ranging from 700 to 950 MPa and good wear resistance. This material also offers moderate corrosion resistance and can reach a hardness of up to 48 HRC when hardened.
