Stainless Steel 15-7 MO is a precipitation-hardenable martensitic stainless steel that contains about 15% chromium, 7% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, with aluminum serving as a hardening agent. After heat treatment, it showcases remarkable strength, hardness, and good corrosion resistance. This alloy can achieve tensile strengths of up to 1,380 MPa and yield strengths around 1,100 MPa when hardened. It maintains its mechanical stability even in high-temperature and corrosive environments, making it an excellent choice for precision applications. Additionally, it offers good formability and weldability in its annealed state before aging or heat treatment.
