Stainless Steel 15-5 PH Hex Bars and Rods are martensitic precipitation-hardening alloys with about 15% chromium, 4–5% nickel, and 3–5% copper content along with 0.05% carbon, 0.15–0.45% manganese, and minor silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur content. The above composition provides exceptional strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance. In condition H900, these bars have tensile strengths of 930–1170 MPa, yield strength of 865 MPa, and elongation of 14–16%. With a hardness of 38–42 HRC, SS 15-5 PH provides superior mechanical stability and is the best for harsh environments like aerospace, marine, and high-performance industry applications.
