Stainless Steel 304L Forgings are produced from a low-carbon version of Stainless Steel 304, consisting of about 18% chromium, 8% nickel, and up to 0.03% carbon content. This alloy improves weldability and minimizes the risk of sensitization during welding. The alloy maintains superior corrosion resistance, especially in acidic and chloride-containing conditions, along with good strength, durability, and formability.
