Aiman Metals Stainless Steel 304L round bars and rods consist predominantly of iron, 18–20% chromium, 8–12% nickel, and have a maximum amount of carbon at 0.03%. The low carbon content is beneficial in providing resistance to intergranular corrosion, particularly following welding, without the necessity of post-weld annealing. The bars are good in mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of approximately 485 MPa and yield strength of about 170 MPa. They are also good in ductility, impact strength, and fabricability. Stainless Steel 304L has corrosion resistance, strength, and weldability, making it a dependable material for both mechanical and structural usage.
