Stainless Steel 310S Bars and Rods contain 24–26% chromium and 19–22% nickel and offer superior resistance to scaling and oxidation at high temperatures. The lower carbon level (0.08% maximum) reduces carbide precipitation, enhancing corrosion resistance and weldability for demanding fabrication needs. Mechanical properties are tensile strength of about 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, elongation of 40%, and superior toughness even in high-temperature applications. This balanced chemistry provides long-term stability, and 310S stainless steel is the best selection for applications where heat resistance and structural integrity are essential.
