Its typical chemical makeup features 25% chromium and 20% nickel, along with a low carbon content (maximum 0.08%) to improve weldability. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. It retains excellent mechanical integrity even at elevated temperatures and demonstrates good toughness in cryogenic conditions, making it perfect for demanding environments that require both structural strength and corrosion resistance.
