Aiman Metals offers Stainless Steel 316 square bars and rods made mostly of iron, 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum. The presence of molybdenum considerably increases resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, especially in chloride-containing environments. The bars have good mechanical properties with tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa and yield strength of about 205 MPa. Stainless Steel 316 has good formability, weldability, and toughness even at high temperatures.
