Aiman Metals’ Stainless Steel 316H Bars and Rods consist of 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum and possess excellent resistance to corrosion, pitting, and oxidation. With a higher carbon content of 0.04–0.10%, 316H offers greater high-temperature strength, sustaining performance at high temperatures to 870°C (1598°F). Mechanical properties are tensile strength of around 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. This singular combination of high-carbon chemistry and strong mechanical properties assures even greater strength, endurance, and reliability in extreme temperature, pressure, and corrosive service conditions.
