Aiman Metals, having its primary office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is a reliable producer and exporter of top-quality Stainless Steel 316L flat bars. Reputed for its quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction, Aiman Metals supplies corrosion-resistant and long-lasting stainless steel products to various industries such as marine, chemical processing, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and construction. Aiman Metals’ Stainless Steel 316L flat bars are manufactured in conformity with international specifications and are suited for use in applications where strength, weldability, and resistance to hostile environments are necessary. Aiman Metals is known for dependable delivery and technical experience in both local and export markets.
Aiman Metals’ Stainless Steel 316L flat bars consist of iron, 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and a maximum of 0.03% carbon content. The low carbon contributes to resistance to intergranular corrosion following welding, while the molybdenum contributes to resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion under chloride-enriched environments. The tensile strength of these bars is approximately 485 MPa, with a yield strength of about 170 MPa. Stainless Steel 316L is characterized by exceptional mechanical strength, toughness, and ductility, and outstanding corrosion resistance, making it suitable for use in welded structures and components in aggressive and high-moisture environments.

Stainless Steel 316L flat bars primarily consist of 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel, and 2-3% molybdenum, with a maximum carbon content of 0.03%. This composition enhances corrosion resistance, especially in chloride-rich environments, making it ideal for demanding applications.
Stainless Steel 316L flat bars are commonly used in industries such as chemical processing, marine, food processing, pharmaceuticals, and petrochemicals. Their high corrosion resistance makes them ideal for applications exposed to aggressive chemicals, saltwater, and high-temperature environments.
The low carbon content in 316L stainless steel reduces carbide precipitation during welding, improving its resistance to intergranular corrosion. This enhances its overall corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride environments, and makes it suitable for applications requiring high strength and durability.
Stainless Steel 316L flat bars find extensive use in applications where structural strength and corrosion resistance are critical. They are best suited for marine hardware, chemical processing plant equipment, food-grade equipment, and pharmaceutical manufacturing systems because they resist corrosion and keep their environment hygienic. The bars are also utilized in architectural applications, coastal engineering structures, pressure vessels, and supports for tanks. The low carbon content makes 316L flat bars particularly well-suited for welding and fabrication with no risk of carbide precipitation. Their endurance, moldability, and durability in hostile environments render them the first choice for long-term structural and industrial applications.
