Stainless Steel 321 Hollow Bar is an austenitic stainless steel alloy that’s stabilized with titanium, effectively preventing carbide precipitation during welding. It generally contains 17–19% Chromium, 9–12% Nickel, and Titanium in quantities at least five times that of the carbon content, which has a maximum of 0.08%. This alloy is known for its excellent resistance to oxidation and intergranular corrosion at temperatures reaching up to 870°C. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and a 40% elongation over 50 mm. The hollow design offers strength while keeping the weight down, making it perfect for structural and fluid-handling applications.
