Stainless Steel 321H Bars and Rods generally consist of 17–19% chromium, 9–12% nickel, and are stabilized with titanium (at least five times the carbon content), along with a higher carbon level (0.04–0.10%) to enhance high-temperature performance. They boast a tensile strength of 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, an elongation of about 40%, and a maximum Brinell hardness of 217. This alloy offers outstanding resistance to intergranular corrosion post-welding and remains stable under prolonged exposure to high temperatures. It is non-magnetic in its annealed state, exhibits good toughness, and performs reliably in both oxidizing and carburizing conditions under extreme heat.
