Stainless Steel 321H Flat Bar is an austenitic stainless steel that’s stabilized with titanium, providing enhanced resistance to intergranular corrosion. It typically contains around 17–19% Chromium, 9–12% Nickel, and a higher carbon content (up to 0.10%) compared to standard 321, which boosts its strength at high temperatures. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40% over 50 mm. It retains excellent mechanical stability even when exposed to high temperatures for extended periods, making it a great choice for pressure vessels and environments that require heat resistance.
