Stainless Steel 347H Square Bars and Rods are a type of high-carbon, niobium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel. Typically, their composition features 17–19% Chromium, 9–13% Nickel, and 0.04–0.10% Carbon, with niobium added (up to 1%) to prevent carbide precipitation. These bars boast impressive mechanical properties, including a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40% over 50 mm. SS 347H retains its strength and oxidation resistance even at elevated temperatures, making it an excellent choice for high-heat environments, pressure systems, and applications that demand long-lasting structural reliability.
