Stainless Steel 410 Flat Bar is a martensitic stainless steel that contains about 11.5–13.5% Chromium and a maximum of 0.15% Carbon. It boasts good hardness, strength, and wear resistance, although its corrosion resistance is somewhat limited. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength ranging from 450–650 MPa, a yield strength of 275 MPa, and an elongation of around 20% in 50 mm. SS 410 can be heat-treated to enhance its mechanical performance and is magnetic in both its annealed and hardened states. Additionally, it offers good machinability and moderate resistance to oxidation at higher temperatures.
