Stainless Steel 430 Hex Bar is primarily made up of Iron, containing about 16–18% Chromium and low levels of Carbon, along with trace amounts of Manganese, Silicon, and Sulfur. It boasts a tensile strength of roughly 450–600 MPa, a yield strength of around 275 MPa, and an elongation of about 22%. Its ferritic structure allows for good thermal conductivity, oxidation resistance up to 870°C, and moderate corrosion resistance in fresh water and atmospheric conditions. SS 430 is magnetic, offers good ductility, and maintains its shape even at higher temperatures, making it ideal for both structural and decorative applications.
