Stainless Steel 904L Flat Bars generally consist of 19–23% chromium, 23–28% nickel, 4–5% molybdenum, 1–2% copper, and very low carbon content (<0.02%), with the remainder being iron. This alloy boasts a tensile strength ranging from 490–710 MPa, a yield strength of 220 MPa, an elongation of about 35%, and hardness levels between 70–90 HRB. It retains its toughness and non-magnetic properties even at lower temperatures, while offering exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.
