Super Duplex Steel Hex Bars are made up of about 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, and 3–5% molybdenum, along with nitrogen, manganese, and a low carbon content. This well-balanced composition creates a dual-phase microstructure that combines austenite and ferrite, providing outstanding corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. Notable mechanical properties include a tensile strength of up to 800 MPa, a yield strength of around 550 MPa, and excellent impact resistance even at low temperatures. Its high PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) ensures remarkable protection against pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in environments rich in chloride.
