Super Duplex Steel Rectangular Bars generally consist of 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, and 3–5% molybdenum, along with nitrogen and manganese, which together create a dual-phase (austenitic-ferritic) microstructure. This unique composition gives them remarkable mechanical strength and excellent corrosion resistance. Their mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 750 MPa, a yield strength of around 550 MPa, and an elongation of roughly 25%. These bars are highly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, even in high-pressure and high-temperature environments.
