Super Duplex Steel Zeron 100 is composed of about 25% chromium, 7% nickel, and 3.6% molybdenum, with a touch of copper (0.7%), tungsten, and nitrogen to boost its corrosion resistance. This remarkable alloy boasts outstanding mechanical properties, featuring a tensile strength of roughly 750–800 MPa and a yield strength of around 550 MPa. Zeron 100 is known for its excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Its duplex microstructure contributes to superior fatigue strength, high impact toughness, and good weldability, making it perfect for extreme environments where both strength and corrosion resistance are essential.
