Titanium forgings are generally crafted from commercially pure grades (like Gr 1–4) or titanium alloys such as Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) and Grades 7 or 11 with palladium. These materials boast a remarkable blend of high strength, low density, and outstanding corrosion resistance. Grade 5 titanium, the most widely used alloy, has a tensile strength of about 895 MPa, while Grade 2 (commercially pure) offers around 344 MPa. Additionally, titanium forgings deliver excellent fatigue strength, biocompatibility, and thermal stability, making them perfect for demanding applications in tough or high-performance environments.
