Titanium Grade 1 is a commercially pure titanium alloy boasting a minimum purity of 99.5%, making it the softest and most ductile of all titanium grades. It offers remarkable corrosion resistance, particularly in oxidizing and marine environments. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 240–350 MPa and a yield strength of around 170 MPa, along with impressive ductility and impact toughness. With a low density of 4.51 g/cm³ and a melting point of 1,668°C, Titanium Grade 1 forgings are perfect for applications where formability, weldability, and corrosion resistance take precedence over strength.

Titanium Grade 1 Forgings find extensive use in industries that demand outstanding corrosion resistance, lightweight materials, and biocompatibility. In the chemical and petrochemical fields, they are ideal for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and piping components that face harsh corrosive environments. In marine settings, Grade 1 forgings are utilized in seawater systems, offshore structures, and ship components. The medical industry also benefits from these materials, using them for surgical tools and implantable devices due to their non-toxic nature.
