What is Titanium Grade 12 Bars/ Rods?

Titanium Grade 12 is a titanium alloy that includes about 0.3% molybdenum and 0.8% nickel, which greatly boosts its corrosion resistance in both reducing and oxidizing environments. It boasts mechanical properties similar to Grade 2 titanium but with enhanced strength and weldability. Typically, Grade 12 has a tensile strength of 483 MPa and a yield strength of around 345 MPa, along with good ductility and formability. Its outstanding resistance to crevice corrosion, especially in hot, highly acidic, or chlorinated environments, makes it an excellent choice for demanding industrial applications and long-lasting structural uses.
