What is Titanium Grade 3 Bars/ Rods?

Titanium Grade 3 Bars and Rods are composed of about 99.2% titanium, along with trace amounts of iron (0.30%), oxygen (0.35%), and other elements. This unalloyed titanium grade boasts greater strength than Grades 1 and 2 while still offering good corrosion resistance. With a tensile strength of roughly 485 MPa (70 ksi) and a yield strength of 345 MPa (50 ksi), plus an elongation of 18%, these bars also feature excellent weldability, moderate formability, and a density of 4.51 g/cm³. These mechanical properties make Grade 3 perfect for demanding structural applications.
