Titanium Grade 4 Bars and Rods are primarily made of titanium (≥99%) along with trace amounts of elements like iron (≤0.5%), oxygen (≤0.4%), carbon (≤0.08%), nitrogen (≤0.05%), and hydrogen (≤0.015%). This unalloyed grade boasts the highest strength among commercially pure titanium grades. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 550 MPa, a yield strength of around 480 MPa, and excellent ductility and weldability. It also offers outstanding corrosion resistance, especially in oxidizing and mildly reducing environments. These characteristics make Grade 4 titanium an excellent choice for demanding structural and chemical processing applications.
