On the mechanical side, P20 steel boasts a tensile strength of about 965 MPa and a hardness ranging from 28 to 32 HRC in its pre-hardened state. It also shows good toughness, dimensional stability, and wear resistance, making it a great choice for various mold-making applications, with the option for further heat treatment if increased hardness is desired.
